Elastothane Speaker Coatings

Elastothane is widely recognised as the market leader in polyurea and polyurethane speaker coatings, with many long standing customers across the UK & Europe. Polyurea is a spray applied polymer coating that won't chip, crack, flake or peel. Touch dry in 5 seconds, it doesn't need a curing oven, meaning fast turnaround during production. With two different coatings, we offer a hybrid that lends itself to "touring" speakers due to it's grippy and impact resistant nature, as well as a harder polyurethane suited to fixed installation speakers. To protect against UV and weathering, our top coat offers extended lifetime protection, and an alternative matt finish.

Elastoline CG

Generally regarded as a coating for speakers that take more abuse on the road, the physical properties are:
Shore D 50, 500% Elongation, 5 Second Gel Time, 10 Second Tack free.




Elastoline 7030

Elastoline 7030 is often found on fixed installation and touring speakers. The physical properties are:
Shore D 70, 140% Elongation, 8 Second Gel Time, 40 Second Tack free.


Elastoline 1400

Elastoline 1400 is an aliphatic (UV stable) waterborne polyurethane matt finish coating. Applied with conventional spray equipment:
Touch dry in 3-5 minutes, cured to handle in 10 minutes, Available in Black & White.

We are often asked if we can apply our coatings for customers, however we feel that this would be directly in competition with our customers, and therefore don't offer that service. We have many independent applicators that are highly experienced and can offer in-house or on-site spraying of polyurea.
